The parable of the Rich Fool has some lessons for Believers today. The Rich fool was not chastised due to his riches, but was called a Fool because of his mindset. He forgot the important things such as God, others and the fact that we humans are just here on earth for a limited time. As christians, we need to recognize that what is important is eternal life.
